"Uh - Honey, I left the pots and pans back in the garage."
Do not ya hate when that happens? No matter who you are, where you camp, or with whom you go with the camp. An aluminum foil roll is a must. Even if you remember your field of kitchen utensils, aluminum foil is a time saver and a preventer mess. Use it to clean up the time in a while. It is used to cover in the oven, melt the butter, a pot lid. Less debt equals more fun.
As ScoutThe leaders of our adventures, you should do a weekend camping pots and pans without. Come to find out that it is very versatile. Roll of a meal (stew, potatoes, sandwiches) in heavy aluminum foil, seal tightly so that steam can not escape, and only put it on the embers of a bonfire. Turn a few times and unfold like magic you eat a dish they did. Here are some examples of coverage for cooking with aluminum foil.
Hamburgers - Patty Place beef in centerPlace a sheet and surrounded with a little 'thin slices of potatoes, carrots and onions. Add salt and simmer for about 15 minutes. Not only is it easy to light, no cleaning, and it is healthy.
Chicken - to enjoy a bit 'of butter or margarine in a chicken breast and salt. Cook for about 20 minutes - turn on all the scenes
Stew - cut in 4 ounces of beef or lamb cubes, salt, sliced carrots, potatoes and onions. Add a couple ofTablespoons water and cook for about 20 minutes.
Fish - This should be done with fresh fish just for the taste factor. Whether fresh or not, you can add some onion and lemon. For a small fish, cook 3 minutes on each side. But for the preverbal "Whopper", cook about 10 minutes on each side.
Fruit - For dessert, cut the center and an apple. Put on the foil, add a little 'butter, some raisins, cinnamon and a teaspoon of brown sugar.Bake for about 30 minutes and enjoy.
These are just some ideas. I found it much more fun to do a project in a brainstorming group. Some ideas are not so good, but it was still a blast, and you'll notice that the only thing that has remained clean-up was perhaps cut a spoon and knife.
But what if you forget even the film?
I have to share more goodies on my 'Scout training' on my website - "CampingMore "
